Because of the generosity of a lot of people Kirsten and Catherine are running a silent auction between now and 30 April 2011. The items in the auction are varied and will appeal to all tastes and include some things that you would just not be able to buy anywhere. You will find all the details on the attached flier and you will see, for example,
- a Celtic FC top signed by some of the Lisbon Lions (courtesy of Celtic FC),
- a rugby ball signed by a selection of the Scotland rugby team
- various items of music memorabilia that are not just rare but otherwise unobtainable (Mark Knopfler (signed drumskin from his last tour and a limited edition signed lithograph), Blue Nile, Prefab Sprouts, Linn record's collection of 10 CDs and so on).
All the items listed will go individually to the highest bidders. There are no reserves set so why not take a chance and put a bid in on anything that catches your eye. You can register your bid by email at the address on the flier or simply pass it on to me and I will ensure they are logged on. All you have to do is bid by 4 p.m. on 30 April either by email to yvonnemalcolm1@hotmail.co.uk or in person at their stall at North Berwick Rugby Seven Tournament, Dunbar Road, North Berwick this Saturday, 30th April, 2011 from 1 - 4 p.m, and then wait to see if you have been successful.
It's a great way of picking up something unique as well as contributing to a very worthwhile project.
